Dale Sutton » Managing Director

Over the past six years Dale Sutton has presided over the development of both the Victorian and Queensland training facilities delivering world class training infrastructure for the Wadham Park Group, and more recently the multi million dollar Woodside Park Stud, which is the breeding division of Wadham Park Australia.

In his role as Wadham Park Managing Director, Dale oversees every aspect of the Groups business including the training requirements of all horses in the stable and the management of more than 30 experienced staff members.

Dale gained his initial experience in the Victorian racing industry and prior to establishing Wadham Park, developed his own training establishment at Canungra in Queensland.

Mitchell Coffey » Nominations Manager

Mitchell joined the Wadham Park Group in March of 2007 after graduating from Marcus Oldham College where he completed a diploma of Horse Business Management. Born into a racing family Mitchell has always been involved with the racing and breeding industry at one level or another.

Mitchell previously worked for racehorse trainers; Dan O'Sullivan, Terry Kelly before working as an assistant foreman for Shane Fliedner and as racing manager for Austy Coffey, where he fulfilled a variety of roles, primarily overseeing the track work of race horses and client liaison.

Mitchell is responsible for matings advice and also the sale of stallion nominations, as well as the sale of both racing and breeding stock. Mitchell also contributes to marketing and public relations, including communication and client liaison.

Gerard Jones » Stud Manager

Gerard’s first introduction to the thoroughbred industry was through part time employment in racing stables. After finishing secondary school Gerard completed a Certificate III in Agriculture and a Diploma in Thoroughbred Breeding at Wangaratta TAFE.

Gerard was then employed with Yallambee Stud in Victoria and after 5 years with the company progressed to position of Assistant Manager. During his time with Yallambee Stud Gerard was a leading hand in the Stallion and Yearling Divisions.

Gerard commenced employment with Woodside Park Stud in August of 2007 as a Stallion Manager. Gerard has since progressed to Stud Manager where he is responsible for the day to day running of the property and the overseeing of the stallion division.

Gavin Davies » Broodmare Manager

From a farming background Gavin grew up competing at high levels of eventing and show jumping in rural Victoria. Gavin commenced his professional career with the ambition of being a jumps jockey, but soon diverted after gaining employment with one of Australia’s most progressive thoroughbred stud farms.

Gavin has since spent the last two years working in the USA at the famed Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Kentucky. During his time in America Gavin worked alongside some of the worlds most respected veterinarians.

Gavin is employed as the Broodmare Manager for Woodside Park Stud, Gavin is responsible for all mare and foals whilst they are residing on the stud. Gavin brings a life time of experience and commitment to the Woodside Park Stud team.
