Woodside Park 2010 service fees

Woodside Park  Apr 27 2010

Woodside Park’s stallion Econsul (pictured) and Grey Swallow will stand in 2010 at an unchanged fee.

Econsul, winner of the 2004 Group 1 Caulfield Guineas, represents tremendous value at a fee of $7700 (inc. GST). Last spring he covered nearly 100 mares, and his first crop averaged $46,000 at last month’s Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale.

Econsul, by the outstanding Snippets son Pins, is from a mare by the champion stallion Centaine. Econsul is stamping his progeny with all this strength and athleticism. We are looking forward to his exceptional first crop going to the races next season.

The Irish Derby winner Grey Swallow’s 2010 fee remains at $9,900 (inc. GST).

Grey Swallow represents an opportunity to breed to a world champion racehorse at a very low fee. This handsome stallion is the perfect avenue for breeders looking to breed stamina. We saw from the success of the 2010 Karaka Yearling Sales that buyers have a growing interest in yearlings that are bred to stay.
