Woodside filly wins Premier Classic
Mar 01 2010
The Woodside Park-bred filly Not A Pretender won last Saturday’s $250,000 Inglis Premier Classic (1200m) at Caulfield.
The filly, by Royal Academy from the Desert King mare Mimes, was a $65,000 purchase by Nathan Tinkler’s Patinack Farm from the Woodside Park draft at last year’s Inglis Premier Sale at Oaklands Junction.
Not A Pretender showed tremendous speed to lead throughout for an easy win.
Woodside Park is offering a quality draft of yearlings at this year’s sale which begins today, including the first yearlings by resident sire Econsul.
