Sutton set for MM premiership win

Wadham Park’s Dale Sutton (pictured) is poised to win the inaugural Magic Millions Premiership (non-metro wins), which finishes on July 31.
Sutton’s season tally of 38 provincial winners – all by Magic Millions’ bought horses – places him six wins clear of his nearest rival, Toowoomba trainer Mark Webb.
Sutton also is in sixth place, with 42 wins, on the overall premiership for metro and provincial wins combined – 10 behind the leader Gerald Ryan.
